Sneaker Freaker recently took over Supra‘s Owen runner, with the result being the Owen “Blueballs” colorway. The shoe features Suprafoam shock absorption and a diamond mesh upper, while beneath sits a speckled concrete midsole. Extra details come together on the plush pink heel tab and unorthodox asymmetrical color blocks. A few hundred pairs of this Sneaker Freaker 10-year anniversary release will be available at select stores, including Kith Manhattan and KithNYC.com for $100 USD.
Sneaker Freaker Magazine covered the upcoming Ronnie Fieg x New Balance 999 “Steel Blue” sneaker in their latest issue. Check out the full story online here.
22 issues ago I didn’t think this would be possible. In this business, getting the cover of Sneaker Freaker is equivalent to an artist winning a grammy or an actor winning an oscar. I’m still emotional over this one so let me start by thanking god.. hahahahaaa ok ok, I won’t go there. In all honesty this feels like a great accomplishment, it’s amazing to see how amazing things turn out when you push yourself to the limit. The “Salmon Toe” and “Leatherback” Gels mean a lot to me. I shelved both styles for over 2 years and waited for a celebratory moment to release them. These will release in the new KITH shop, release info coming real soon. Shout to Woody and the entire Sneaker Freaker team, great peoples.
Sneaker Freaker is one of my favorite magazines and it was only right that we got together for this feature. I respect Woody and MAFIA very much and i tip my hat to all the hard work they put in over the years. This interview was great, leave a message I’d love to read your thoughts.
