This month Vans Vault puts Horween leather on the Vans Mountain Decon LX ($180 USD) and Vans Era ($140 USD). Both models include an upper made entirely of Horween leather, classic waffled vulcanized soles, metal eyelets, leather laces and a thin sewn mudguard. The Decon LX includes a front strap while the Era includes a two toned upper. The upgraded OG Sk8 Hi ($130 USD) comes in premium tan leather, a purple leather tongue tab and vulcanized waffle soles. The Vans California collection presents two new colorways of the popular Authentic 59 Era with now a nubuck toe and heel finish. You can find wool detailing with cotton drill lining throughout as well as Vans’ classic vulcanized gum rubber “waffle” outsole for flexibility and grip. Extra additions include a color contrasting midsole on the toe and round waxed laces pulling the shoe together. This month brings us a handful of new adidas Originals by Jeremy Scott releases. Two versions of the Instinct Hi ($180 USD) drop in Black/White and Animal Print. The styles are dressed in black and white leather or a variety of animal print materials with a highlighted extended tongue with “adidas” branding seen across both pairs. The Wings return in a special 2.0 “Silver Mesh” version ($220 USD) featuring a mesh upper, removable zippers and shiny synthetic overlays. The Western inspired Forum Hi ($180 USD) brings together cowboy buckles and a basketball inspired silhouette that uses four silver buckle straps, an athletic black leather base and a contrasting white sole. October brings us a few new styles from Android Homme. Two Propulsion 1.5 ($260 USD) styles debut in colorful tribal canvas detailing mixed on lamb suede uppers. In honor of Nike co-founder Bill Bowerman, Nike presents a pack of Air Trainer 1′s in Tan/Black and a Black/Gold. The trainers are well-designed with a gold-painted trim around the Nike Swoosh, velcro straps above the toebox and subtle stripes along the side panels. The Tan/Black feature nubuck uppers and a black midsole unit, while the Black colorway features full grain leather and nubuck detailing. EWING ATHLETICS 33 HI White and Red General Release @ KITH NYC

The 1980s gave birth to the signature basketball shoe as many players received their own shoe model from footwear companies nationwide, but in 1989 Patrick Ewing took it one step further by becoming the first professional basketball player to have his own shoe company. The first release from the company was the 33 Hi, and now it gracefully returns this month in multiple colorways. The flagship Ewing Athletics shoe features a classic reversible ankle strap, a “Patrick Ewing” signature on the side, a reinforced heel, a full leather or suede upper, “Ewing” and “33″ plastered on the rear and all the classic details from on the original version from decades past.

After a previous limited release, the first two colorways from the rebirth of Ewing Athletics will now be available for a general release at Kith Manhattan and KithNYC.com for $100 USD on Saturday, September 29th at 11 am EST.
