Spring is finally here and I couldn’t think of a more perfect shoe than the Clarks Desert boot to compliment Spring/Summer apparel. Some colors just look perfect in certain leathers and this hue of blue in a matte faded nubuck is a prime example. Because the color is lighter than most Desert Boots it makes it easier to see the highs and lows in the nubuck, something I was definitely aiming for when working on this sample. Priced at $92, 300 pairs of the Slate Blue Desert boots will be available this Friday, April 8th at the David Z flagship (556 Broadway 212.431.5450) as well as the website at 10am Est.

Timeless. Premium. Classics. These just came in today, I don’t know how you guys feel about these “Redwood” leather Desert Boots but I absolutely love these. I already bought my pair and I’ll be wearing these with dark denim and maybe a beige or light grey sweater. Both boots are made with great leathers, a little different from traditional suede we are so used to seeing from the iconic brand. Priced at $92 The “Redwood” leather (77966) and Black Leather (77967) Desert Boots are available for purchase today at the David Z. flaship (556 Broadway Bet. Prince and Spring St. 212.431.5450) as well as over the phone at 212.274.9044 ext. 640.

Last week I presented you guys with the Clarks Weavers off my Clarks Originals Saddle Collection. Today i present you with the 2nd and final installment of the collection, 3 desert boots made with these amazing leathers. The Clarks Desert Boot has become a very iconic style and continues to trend strong for the next few seasons. It’s been amazing for me to see Clarks stay extremely relevant for 15 years, one of the very few “brown shoe” companies to do so. When working with the Desert Boot, It was important for me to stay true to what Clarks Originals is all about, just added a classic finish and colors to the timeless classic. Priced at $95, all three colors will be available this Friday November 19th at the David Z. flagship (556 Broadway, Ny, 10012, 212.431.5450) and online at

There are 3 styles coming from this collection. Here is the grey saddle leather Desert boot.

Working with Clarks Originals you could expect a few things, great leathers and craftsmanship are on top of that list. The leathers are AMAZING! so soft and so rich, my cousin makes fun of me for holding the grey Weaver Boot in my hands while watching football games on Sunday. I become obsessed with materials when they feel and look this good. The Weaver Boot is already a timeless classic, it was only right i gave it a classy finish with upgraded leathers and subtle colors. Priced at $110, both styles will be available this Friday November 12th 10am est at the David Z. Flagship (556 Broadway, Ny, 10012, 212.431.5450) as well as online at
