Michiya Suzuki, the General Manager of Red Wing Japan came to my shop with the editor of 2nd Magazine (See cover and feature here) and the first thing i noticed was this bag he was wearing. Before they got to ask me questions i was already asking them where i could get the bag he was sporting and when he pulled out that wallet to hand me his card, i lost it. Mr. Suzuki said he would send me the bag and i didn’t know weather or not to believe him because he was so polite about it. When these two pieces showed up at my office I was like a little kid in a candy store. These pieces represent quality, if you understand quality leather you would know exactly what i mean and I am sure they are very pricey in Japan. A huge thank you to Michiya, i greatly appreciate the gifts.

You should be flagged by some sort of internet indecency squad for posting those pictures.

Pure, unadulterated American leather porn…that’s what that is. I find it completely ridiculous on Red Wing’s part for not selling these Stateside.

Please post an update if you eventually do find a store that actually carries this.

you can almost feel how authentic the leathers on these products are..
imagine when they pick up wear, how amazing they’d look then.
i had no idea red wing got into leather goods.
lol @ Geoff comment.. good one dude.
i agree red wind should make this more available.

    Update:

Well, it looks like Ronnie and a few other lucky people are the only ones who will be handling these bags for the foreseeable future.

Word is, is that despite being released in catalogs in Japan, this messenger bag will not be sold, due to manufacturing costs and the apparent lack of market.

If you are one of the aforementioned people lucky enough to get one of these and are willing to sell :cough, Ronnie, cough:, don’t hesitate to contact me!
